A workshop for Grades 6 – 12 Teachers

See research in action and learn about physical and biological processes in and along Lake Michigan. Take part in standards-based, hands-on, data manipulation activities that you can use with students in grades 6 – 12, and design new activities as part of a National Science Foundation project!

Join researchers from Purdue University and Indiana University Northwest, educators from the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant College Program, and the staff of the Great Lakes Research and Education Center for this exciting¬†two-day workshop! Professional Growth Points are available for Indiana¬†Teachers and CPDU’s are available for Illinois teachers. Graduate Credit is available from Indiana University Northwest and Chicago State University for an additional fee.
