A workshop for Grades 6 – 12 Teachers

See research in action and learn about physical and biological processes in and along Lake Michigan. Take part in standards-based, hands-on, data manipulation activities that you can use with students in grades 6 – 12, and design new activities as part of a National Science Foundation project!

Join researchers from Purdue University and Indiana University Northwest, educators from the Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant College Program, and the staff of the Great Lakes Research and Education Center for this exciting two-day workshop! Professional Growth Points are available for Indiana Teachers and CPDU’s are available for Illinois teachers. Graduate Credit is available from Indiana University Northwest and Chicago State University for an additional fee.
