Located in Burns Harbor, Indiana the Burns Harbor Park Department serves town and community residents with outdoor, family-friendly recreation. Memorial Day weekend – Labor Day weekend swimming, fishing, children summer programming, paddle boat and row boat rentals are available.
Lakeland Park, Shadyside Park, and Bolinger Park are overseen by park staff year-round; however, Lakeland Park is home-base for the park department. Lakeland Park is equipped with a swimming and fishing lake, baseball diamond, basketball court, volleyball court, and much more. With affordable season and daily passes available, this is a great summer getaway for families.
Shadyside Park and Bolinger Park are smaller neighborhood parks but great locations for playgrounds and picnic shelters. Each park is available free of charge to community residents. Shadyside Park is located in Shadyside Mobile Home Park off of Highway 12 and Bolinger Park is located on Tonya Street off of Highway 20.
